Braking Course
Week 1 to 3:
In these 3 first weeks we'll get to know each other and go over some of the most common braking techniques, as all the knowledge of the past 2 levels is taken for granted, we will push our balance and control to the limit creating a fast and organised progression in very little time.
Week 4:
This week we will keep practicing the past technique and we'll include some new fancy ones having by now up to 5 different braking resources.
Week 5:
This is your first exam! We will put your braking skills to the test, for now still at low speed and in a very controlled enviroment. Let's be real, those 3 hours a week you were meant to practice will come handy now, so don't miss them.
Week 6:
Stroll time! As we will go to specific slopes to test and try different contexts that will make you understand when to use of any brake in the right moment. We will stop to grab a bite so bring something to eat and share if you fancy, we won't stop you...
Week 7 to 8:
These 2 weeks we will put a great effort into improving the most important and useful techniques to brake and, being honest, we will do some of those things that we said we must never do. Yes, this just means your getting to the level that very few get to..
Week 9:
Exam time! In this exam you will see my eyes sparkling when I proudly see doing some tricky braking like you are born with it, so enjoy as much as I will!
Week 10 to 11:
The last 2 weeks before the final exam you will to remember everything that you learnt at level 2. We will see how to brake backwards, taking the most of it to the point that may even start sliding a little.
Week 12:
Final exam! By this time you should be able to almost stop time, as you'll be amazing at braking. Let's put that to the test to get your Level 3 certificate, your braking super dope pin and you guessed it, a great 10% disccount to continue your journey to success. Let's go!
